According to monitoring by the China Electricity Regulatory Commission, in August, China’s clean energy generated 109.4 billion kWh, an increase of 41% year-on-year, of which hydropower increased by 48% and wind power increased by 59%. As of August, the nation's clean energy consumption totaled 615.8 billion kwh, accounting for 19.3% of all on-grid electricity, an increase of 1.1 percentage points from the same period last year. Among them, hydropower was 489 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 20.6%, wind power was 63.5 billion kWh, an increase of 32.4% year-on-year, and nuclear power was 63.3 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 10.5%.

As of the end of August, the country’s newly added hydropower was 7.96 million kilowatts, wind power was 52.4 million kilowatts, and hydropower installed above the scale of the country was 203.38 million kilowatts, an increase of 6.7% year-on-year; wind power was 54.37 million kilowatts, an increase of 37.2%, and nuclear power was 12.57 million kilowatts, an increase of 5.6% year-on-year. . The scale of clean energy installed capacity continues to grow.
