The circuit breaker should be considered as follows when selecting the type:

Wire line: The current of the circuit breaker should be less than the current carrying capacity of the wire. Otherwise, it is very likely that the overload will not trip and it will not be protected. Total switch current: The current of the branch switch should be less than the total switch current to avoid the phenomenon of step-by-step tripping. Number of sockets: If the number of circuit outlets is too large, consider increasing the circuit breaker current and the line of the trunk wires to avoid overload. Circuit breaker series: Under normal circumstances, from the economic point of view and safety point of view, the circuit breaker of the ordinary five-hole socket circuit can use the single-pole circuit breaker, and the three-hole socket circuit used by the high-power electric appliance needs to use the two-pole circuit breaker. Protection function of the circuit breaker: All socket circuits must use circuit breakers with leakage. It is not recommended to use leakage circuit breakers for the lamp circuit and main switch to avoid malfunction.

The common leakage circuit breakers are selected as 1PC16 leakage circuit breaker, 1PC20 leakage circuit breaker and 2PC32 leakage circuit breaker. Cxx is the rated current of the circuit breaker is xx amps.

Generally speaking, the circuit breaker current of the household distribution box branch switch should not exceed 32A, because the wire in the corridor is 6 square meters, and the single-user current is too large, which is likely to cause fire in the corridor.

Wiring of leakage circuit breaker

The wiring of the circuit breaker needs to be carefully considered. Because of the different brands, the wiring position of the zero-fire line of the circuit breaker is also different.

In general, the neutral wire terminal will have the "N" mark, and the other terminal will be connected to the fire wire.

And the circuit breaker must be connected to the upper end and the lower end to the outgoing line. Some circuit breakers have more than 2 terminals at the lower end. In this case, the two directly below the leakage protector should be used.
