2. Open circuit test
First, screw the eight telephone lines on the faulty module end together.
Then measure the resistance between the two pairs. If the resistance between the two lines is 0, there is no short circuit. If the resistance between one line and other lines is not 0, the line is broken. Find two faulty lines that are not open and shorted to fix the phone fault.
If the test telephone is used to test the signal of the telephone port on the distribution frame corresponding to the telephone module, if there is no signal, the line fault of the telephone line on the weak power distribution frame to the PABX equipment distribution frame is the same as above.
Second, if there is no port description, you need to use the line finder to find out which port on the patch panel the weak line corresponds to the telephone line on the telephone module.
