But today, news from supply chain manufacturers in Taiwan said that both the upstream supply chain and the downstream supply chain are ready to mass-produce their parts in June. For example, A11 processor foundry TSMC, stacked-type board (SLP) manufacturers, Ding Technology and Jingshuo Technology, and battery supplier Xinpu Technology are ready for mass production next month.
Among them, TSMC will mass produce the A11 processor on June 10, and it will be available in volume in late July. In addition, assemblers Foxconn, Wistron and Heshuo Technology have begun recruiting and training workers in the Mainland to prepare for mass production.
Based on historical records, although the new generation of iPhone will be released on schedule in September, the listing in October is still slightly later than in previous years. Last year, Apple released the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus on September 9. It was officially launched on September 16.
This year, Apple is expected to release three iPhones, the iPhone 7s, the iPhone 7s Plus and the iPhone 8. Among them, the screen technology and size of the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus will be the same as the current iPhone. The iPhone 8 features an OLED curved screen, a stainless steel bezel and a more advanced dual camera.
