Snow Wright announced today that Mr. Zhang Ming, the director and chief engineer of Guangdong Xuelaite Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. and the director of Guangdong Special Light Source Engineering Technology Research and Development Center, submitted a written resignation application to the company's board of directors on July 21, 2008. Mr. Zhang Ming said that he resigned as a director of the company for personal reasons. According to the relevant provisions of the Articles of Association, Mr. Zhang Ming’s application for resignation takes effect when it is delivered to the board of directors.
It is understood that Mr. Zhang Ming graduated from Tsinghua University with a master's degree in automation instrumentation and has 11 years of experience in the electric light source industry.
As of March 31, 2008, Zhang Ming was the third largest tradable shareholder of Shelley, holding 1,546,500 shares.
