Financial subsidies for efficient lighting product promotion start The National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of Customs, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, and the State Council Administration Bureau held an event in Beijing on the theme “Farewell to incandescent lighters and green life” on the 17th in Beijing. Formal implementation of the "China's roadmap for the phase-out of incandescent lamps" and the ban on the import and sale of incandescent lamps of 100 watts or more from this month.

According to Xie Zhenhua, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, China's lighting power consumption accounts for about 13% of the total electricity consumption in the society. If we replace all of the 1.4 billion incandescent lamps in use in China with energy-saving lamps, we can save 48 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity each year, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 48 million tons annually. This has great potential for energy saving and emission reduction.

According to China's gradual elimination of incandescent light road maps, from October 1, 2014, China will ban the import and sale of incandescent lamps with 60 W or more general lighting; from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016, the mid-term evaluation period From 1st of October 2016, it is forbidden to import and sell incandescent lamps with 15 W or more of general lighting, or adjust them according to the results of the mid-term evaluation. The province's 2012 fiscal subsidies for efficient lighting products have been officially launched. This year, 8 million energy-saving lamps will be promoted through financial subsidies, which is equivalent to the total number of promotions during the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period. Looking at the scope of promotion, this year's promotion of energy-saving lamps will be appropriately tilted to rural areas and poor areas, the proportion will reach 70%.

According to reports, the price of energy-saving lamps that the country has promoted is only 1/3 of the market price, and special labels for "government subsidies and green lighting projects" have been printed on the packaging and lamp body. The guarantee period for product quality promised by the successful bidder to residents is not less than 2 years.

The National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance organized a unified tender to determine the successful suppliers of the products to be awarded to the province: Foshan Electrical Lighting Co., Ltd., Xiamen Donglin Electronics Co., Ltd., Guangdong Midea Lighting Electrical Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Yancheng Haomai Lighting Technology Co., Ltd., Hengdian. Group Debang Lighting Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Sunshine Lighting Electric Group Co., Ltd.
