Eighty percent of energy-saving lamps pass through LED street lamps

Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision issued the “Announcement on the Quality Supervision of 10 Special Products for Electronic Ballasts in Guangdong Province in 2011” to conduct spot checks on the products manufactured by 632 companies in the province. The spot check involved the lighting industry. The sampling results showed that Zhongshan enterprises were mixed. Among them, self-ballasted fluorescent lamps for general lighting (ie, energy-saving lamps) were used in the “red list” of 21 companies, with a pass rate of 80%; LED street lights and light source control The sampling results of the device are not very optimistic. Four out of the eight sampled companies have entered the “black list,” and the pass rate is only 50%.

"Red List": Product sampling lot pass rate of 80.8%

In this sampling inspection, Zhongshan Lamps performed better in spot checks of self-ballasted fluorescent lamps for general lighting. A total of 89 batches of self-ballasted fluorescent lamps for general lighting produced by 82 companies in eight regions including Guangzhou and Zhongshan were examined. 55 batches passed inspection, and the sampling batch pass rate was 61.8%. Among them, a total of 21 light factory products in Zhongshan were qualified for sampling, and the qualified rate of product sampling lot was 80.8%, which was nearly 20% higher than the provincial qualified rate.

Of the 34 unqualified sample batches, Zhongshan produced 5 batches, accounting for 14.7%. Among them, the unqualified projects were Zhongshan Haicang Lighting Electric Co., Ltd. "Black list": Sampling LED street lamps failed half

It is worth noting that, as one of the major LED production sites, Zhongshan performed poorly in this special LED spotlight and light source controller product quality supervision and spot checks. A total of 41 batches of LED street lamps and light source controller products produced by 41 companies in 7 cities including Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhongshan were checked. 30 batches passed the inspection, and the sampling batch pass rate was 73.2%. Of the 8 sampling batches in Zhongshan, 4 product batches were placed on the unqualified list.

According to reports, for the quality problems found in the inspection, the Provincial Bureau of Quality Supervision has notified the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau to file a case and investigate and deal with severely non-compliant products.
