Expert experience: video optical transceiver troubleshooting large collection

Optical transceivers are widely used in the field of video surveillance. Since video surveillance is a complex system engineering, different environments have different requirements for optical transceivers. Here is a description of the common solution to the problem of optical transceivers!

If the optical power supply is normal but does not work, follow the steps below:

A. The monitor has a black screen, and the data and camera control functions are normal.

1. Unplug the fiber from the optical port. If the screen is no longer black but has snowflakes, the optical connection may be good.

2. Make sure the video BNC connection between the optical transceivers is intact.

B. The monitor screen has snowflakes (noise), and the data and camera controls are normal. This situation indicates that there is a problem with the light part. Continue to follow the steps below to troubleshoot:

1. Unplug the fiber from the optical port of the transmitter and insert a fiber jumper.

2. Plug the other end of the jumper into the optical power meter.

(a) If the reading does not match the indicator, the transmitter has a problem and should be replaced.

(b) If the reading meets the specifications, proceed to the next step.

3. Check the connector. If it is dirty, wipe it off with isopropyl alcohol.

4. Reconnect the original fiber to the optical port of the transmitter. At the receiver side, steps 2 through 3 above are performed. The reading of the optical power meter must be at least the minimum calibration of the input energy of the receiver.

(a) If the reading is slightly lower, the fiber may be defective and should be replaced.

(b) If the reading is very low, the cable may be damaged and replaced.

(c) If the reading is normal, the receiver has a problem and should be replaced.

C. The video is normal but there is a problem with the control of the camera. This shows that the fiber is good. When the fiber attenuation increases, the loss of video will be greater than the loss of control data of the gimbal.

1. Check the TD (Data Activity) LED on the receiver before transmitting the PTZ control signal. When the data is transmitted, the indicator light is always on, or it flashes following your operation. If this is not the case and there is no problem with the electrical connection, the receiver may have a problem and needs to be replaced.

2. When the control signal of the gimbal is sent to the other end of the fiber-connected transmitter, the RD indicator is always on, or flashes following your operation, and the electrical connection is correct, but the control of the camera still cannot If it works normally, it indicates that the transmitter has a problem and should be replaced. If the RD indicator is off, there may be a problem with the transmitter or a problem with the receiver. Contact the manufacturer for further guidance.

TV Antenna With Megnetic Base

Satellite broadcasting has the characteristics of wide frequency band, large capacity, stable and reliable performance, wide coverage and suitable for various services. It has become the main means of transmission for radio and television. The performance of satellite ground receiving antenna is directly related to the GH/T value of satellite ground receiving equipment, which determines the viewing quality of satellite broadcasting and TV programs. Therefore, the right choice of satellite receiving antenna is an important premise and guarantee of satellite receiving. Satellite ground receiving station basically chooses two kinds of antenna, namely parabolic antenna (feedforward) and cassegrain antenna (feedback). Parabolic antenna consists of a rotating-symmetric paraboloid, that is, the electromagnetic wave reflection surface and the feed surface, the feed surface in front of the paraboloid
