TE Connectivity Helps Andretti Team FIA Formula Formula Championship 2015-16 Season Beijing First Debut

The first stop of the FIA ​​Formula E 2015-2016 season will kick off at the Beijing Olympic Park on October 24. TE Connectivity, a global leader in connectivity and sensing, will join forces with Andretti to help them ride the Formula E. Dutch driver Robin Frijns and Swiss driver Simona de Silvestro will play the Andeletti team on the 27th and 28th cars of the Amlin Andretti Spark_SRT 01.

In addition to being the sponsor of the Formula E Andretti team, TE is also a key partner of Andretti Technologies. Andretti Technologies is responsible for the technology incubator and advanced engineering business of Andretti. TE is a leading provider of connectivity and sensing solutions for the motorsport industry, offering products that operate reliably under the extreme conditions required by motorsport. The two sides' technical cooperation initiative leverages TE's expertise in sensors and connectors, including the DEUTSCH motorsport series, AST sensors and Raychem cables. This cooperation will use motorsport and competition as a test base for new technologies, and is expected to accelerate the development of batteries, motors, inverters and chassis.
