These 7 common aerial parameters are set to let you avoid "big movies" and "waste tablets".

A good photo requires both the scenery and the timing of the shooting, and it is inseparable from the photographer's experience and expected effect to set the shooting parameters reasonably.

In aerial photography, you may encounter a situation where a parameter error, a "big film" has become a "discontinued film". In this regard, we have summarized the following 7 common mistakes in aerial photography, helping you to better kill every piece of waste before pressing the shutter!

Common Mistakes 1: Exposure Mode

When shooting, is the picture of the aircraft picture white or black? Check the exposure mode setting first!

These 7 common aerial parameters are set to let you avoid "big movies" and "waste tablets".

In the DJI aircraft, there are four gear positions: AUTO (automatic exposure), S (shutter priority), A (aperture priority), and M (manual exposure). If you choose a gear other than AUTO, there may be cases where the screen is overexposed/underexposed due to an error in the exposure parameters.

* Shutter priority / aperture priority mode, only select models.

Sometimes when shooting a night scene, use the M file and set a longer shutter speed for shooting. After the daytime flight shooting, this parameter is used by default, resulting in a white screen. It is recommended to check the exposure mode first, then adjust to the AUTO file and see if the picture is normal.

Common Mistake 2: Exposure Compensation

The exposure mode is correct, the picture is still bright or dark? See if the exposure compensation is correct?

These 7 common aerial parameters are set to let you avoid "big movies" and "waste tablets".

Already switched to AUTO shooting, but the screen exposure is still not ideal, what should I do? You can adjust the current screen exposure by adjusting the EV (exposure compensation) value.

If you do not return to zero after adjusting the exposure compensation during shooting, it may cause inaccurate exposure in other shooting scenes. At this time, if the exposure compensation is negative, the picture may be darker; if the exposure compensation is positive, the picture may be brighter.

Tip: In manual exposure mode, the exposure compensation is not adjustable, it is converted to an exposure indicator, showing the difference between the current shooting parameters and the automatic metering.

Common Mistakes 3: ISO

Is there more noise in the photo? The shutter speed is adjusted the most, and the picture is still too bright? Look at the ISO!

These 7 common aerial parameters are set to let you avoid "big movies" and "waste tablets".

In shooting, the ISO value is also an important parameter for screen exposure. When shooting in a dark environment, the camera usually needs a higher ISO value to ensure normal exposure of the picture. In the daytime, if the ISO value is too high, the picture will be too bright and the picture will be noisy.

Conversely, if a lower ISO is set during the day and when shooting at night, there may be a lack of exposure, resulting in underexposure and a dark picture.

If the ISO setting is not clear, you can open the AUTO ISO and the camera will automatically select the current ISO value when shooting.
