(4) The main generator excitation winding is broken. Check the main generator excitation winding with a multimeter. The resistance is infinite and the excitation circuit should be connected.
(5) Each winding of the main generator or the exciter has a short circuit, and the armature winding is short-circuited. Generally, there is obvious overheating, and the field winding is short-circuited, which can be determined by the value of its tributary resistance. Replace the damaged winding.
